George Guthrie

George Guthrie is a qualified and licensed Master Builder, with some 20 years of experience in the industry. Through these years he has built a trustworthy, honourable reputation in Marlborough not only for himself but for his team. His communication through projects and ability to work through tough solutions is what sets him above the rest. George understands and evaluates clients needs, and endeavours to make projects a memorable experience that consistently results in long-term relationships with repetitive work.

JANE, SHAUN, ANDY, HARRY, SHANON, AARON, Sean & KATE

Working alongside George is Jane and Kate. Jane provides essential support, managing the administrative side of George Guthrie Construction to ensure every project runs smoothly behind the scenes. She has a diverse set of skills enabling her to adapt, improvise, and manage anything that comes her way. George’s wife Kate manages marketing and social media.

George has surrounded himself with exceptional carpenters who have meticulous workmanship, bring strength to the business, and pride themselves in their work. He has full confidence in his team that all jobs will be completed to his standard.

Andy, Shaun and Harry run the projects onsite. They have their own standout qualities however, one thing they all have in common is being great problem-solvers who have the ability to visualise and develop technical parts of the job.

Shanon has re-joined the team after time spent building overseas and Jamie has recently completed his BCITO apprenticeship becoming a fully qualified carpenter. Aaron and Sean round off a tight-knit team as our apprentices, both at various stages working towards their full qualifications. These young men are fast developing their skills to potentially become project foremen within the company.

GGC has the ability to design apprenticeships around the individuals own unique needs and ensure their educated in exactly the skills they need. George Guthrie Construction built my residence here in Blenheim. I have known George for some time and was aware of his skills.
